Why My Family Don’t Need a TV

Although Jeremy stays in the city most days of the week, I don’t miss adult conversation because my children are such great company.

I knew from early on that I didn’t want to be one of those mothers who let their kids spend hours in front of a screen: I want to spend real time having real experiences with my children.

I asked Ambrose what his favourite thing about not having a telly was and immediately he said ‘When we get to play games with you, mummy’ which obviously made me cry but made Nectar snort with laughter and high five Ambrose. I love that they’re so close.
